Presolicitation only at this time. Repairs to a deteriorated section of concrete within the stairwell of the Intake Tower at Tionesta Creek Lake to restore watertightness, prevent inundation of interior spaces during high-water events, and maintain safe access for project personnel. Work includes sounding the existing concrete, marking demolition limits, and removing all unsound concrete to a minimum depth of eight inches or until sound concrete is encountered over an area approximately eight feet high by seven feet wide at elevation 1116.5. Following demolition, the contractor shall install a non-shrink, low-pressure injection grout around the full perimeter of the existing concrete to reduce seepage from the gatewell into the stairwell. The scope further includes installation of new reinforcement consisting of horizontal, vertical, and bent-hook reinforcing bars doweled and epoxied into the existing structure, maintaining a minimum clear cover of three inches. A concrete bonding agent shall be applied to all existing surfaces, and a hydrophilic waterstop shall be installed along all vertical and horizontal joints to minimize future leakage. Formwork shall be set flush with the existing wall face, and new concrete shall be placed and vibrated to ensure full consolidation and a uniform finish. The work will be performed under a single firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance of 365 calendar days following Notice to Proceed.
