Installation of new and renovated kitchenettes on three levels of Building 2474, including general construction, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. First-floor work includes construction of new finished metal stud walls to deck, removal and replacement of ceiling tiles, installation of new base and wall cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash, resilient wall base, and mini blinds, along with new plumbing above the ceiling and below the floor to the basement for a sink faucet and waste disposal. Additional work includes installation of new range hoods with through-wall exhaust ducting and venting, a new electrical panel, and associated wiring and conduit. Second- and third-floor work includes sanding and staining existing wall and base cabinets, installation of new cabinet hardware and countertops, replacement of mini blinds, replacement of kitchen sinks, faucets, and waste disposals, removal and replacement of electric drinking fountains with bottle fillers, replacement of resilient wall base, and new paint throughout affected areas. All work shall be completed under a single firm-fixed-price contract within 180 days after Notice to Proceed.
