Reference Number 0000427115 The Scituate School Dept. (Scituate, Rhode Island) (SSD) invites the submittal of proposals from qualified firms interested in providing full operations, maintenance and management services for the SSD's potable water source, treatment and distribution system collectively known as the "drinking water facilities". This Invitation to Bid (ITP) has been issued by the SSD to provide firms with information to prepare and submit a detailed proposal which must satisfy all criteria established in this RFP to qualify for consideration. The goal of this RFP is to identify and short-list Service Providers having the demonstrated experience and financial capability to effectively and efficiently assume the responsibilities outlined in this RFP. The SSD intends to enter into a three year agreement for the management, operations and maintenance of its drinking water facilities with the most qualified proposer. Service Providers must demonstrate to the satisfaction of the SSD that they meet all the qualification requirements described herein. ONLY those Service Providers that meet the qualification requirements will be short-listed for further consideration in the selection process after proposals are received. As a public water supply, the SSD is regulated by the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH). In the execution of this project there may be times that the operations firm has to represent the SSD to resolve conflicts with RIDOH. For this reason and due to the potential for conflicts of interest, any responders to this request that are currently employed, or have employment or contracts pending with RIDOH shall not be considered.
