Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ogden, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.

The work includes demolition of existing northwest and northeast baseball fields and related structures. Construct new northwest and northeast baseball fields, including grass fields, dugouts, lights, fencing, paving, and bleachers. New gravel parking surfaces and ADA accessible pathways and parking. Construct a new playground, including play equipment poured rubber surface, drainage, and concrete curb. Provide electrical infrastructure to serve the current project and prepare for future phases. Bids must be delivered to the City Administrator and shall be open to acceptance and irrevocable for thirty days from the bid closing date. The Bid shall be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting the project specifications, but the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, and to waive informalities. Bid Proposal must be made on the Bid Form in the Project Manual. Oral, facsimile, telegraphic, or telephonic bids or modifications will not be considered. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in a separate, sealed envelope. Do not include sales or use tax in the bid. Preference will be given to products, provisions, and labor from Iowa. Upon award, the successful Contractor must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the awarded Contract amount and provide required insurance certificates as specified in the Project Manual.
