Site work for a parking garage in Spokane, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a parking garage.
The work includes demolition, site preparation, earthwork, grading, asphalt concrete paving, electrical, communications, stormwater, detention vaults, structural foundations, pavement markings, traffic control, and all other work as noted on project plans for the consolidation of Economy 1 Parking Lot. Each bidder must submit a bid by the specified date and hour. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference is required for prime contractors. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or surety bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid. A performance bond, payment bond, and liability insurance in accordance with contract documents will be required. This is a prevailing wage project as per applicable state law. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, as determined by the Airport Board, which also reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality, accept alternate bids, and make awards deemed in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Instruction to Bidders and General Conditions. All bidders are advised to ensure their bids are responsive.
