Site work for a communication facility in Burlington, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
Proposals are invited for the installation of underground conduit along Locust Street in Burlington. The project accepts bids for traditional excavation and conduit placement, directional boring/conduit moling, or alternate construction techniques, including combination of the above methods. This is a firm-fixed price contract, and the price will not be adjusted based on the contractor’s cost experience. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and for paying all permit, administrative, and excavation fees. Any changes to the work require prior written approval in the form of a change order before the work begins. Unauthorized changes will not be compensated. Proposal evaluation criteria include the quality of the proposal, cost, associated risks, company or personnel qualifications and experience, ability to meet requirements, prior performance on similar projects, compliance with RFP provisions, proof of insurance, and adherence to wage, outsourcing, and union-related ordinances.
