Stabilization of a separate stormwater outlet, including repair of broken vitrified clay outlet pipe sections and mitigation of slope erosion. The stormwater outlet is located within a City-held easement, primarily between the properties at 6 Mount View Court and 208 Crescent Road, and discharges to a tributary of Englesby Brook. The existing vitrified clay outlet pipe has multiple broken sections, both caused by and contributing to ongoing slope erosion at the outlet. The pipe is now approximately 20 feet shorter than its original length, and more than 100 cubic yards of material are estimated to have eroded form the gully. To address the erosion, which poses risks to slope stability, pipe integrity, and downstream water quality, the City is soliciting construction services to extend and rebed the outlet pipe an additional 37 feet beyond its current terminus and to complete all associated erosion control, regrading, and stabilization measures.
