Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Parker Dam, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work consists of replacement of concrete, structural supports, platforms, grating, handrails, sump covers, pumps, motors, valves, pipes, lighting, and ventilation; installation of Metropolitan-furnished equipment; removal of mud and debris from the sumps; electrical upgrades; hazardous materials abatement; and other appurtenant work as specified and shown on the drawings. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is a condition precedent to submittal of a bid, and Metropolitan will not consider a bid from any bidder not represented at the pre-bid conference. All personnel attending the pre-bid conference shall possess a valid government-issued photo identification card and shall not pose a security risk to Metropolitan. Any vehicle entering a Metropolitan facility is subject to search and visual inspection. Attendees must wear construction attire during the tour. For this project, Metropolitan requires small and/or disabled veteran business participation of at least 20 percent of the total bid. Bid Bond, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, and Prevailing Wage are required. Bidders must have License A. Liquidated damages apply. Project duration is 580 working days. Bids must be valid for 90 days.
