Description

Site work for a development in Clinton, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a development.

The work includes, but is not limited to, the following improvements for streambank stabilization at Bickelhaupt Arboretum, 340 South 14th Street: approximately 3905 cubic yards of streambank stabilization earthwork, 0.7 acres of native wetland seeding, 17 linear feet of 18-inch RCP stormwater sewer replacement, installation of 3490 square yards of turf reinforcement mat, striping, testing, mobilization, traffic control, erosion control, surface restoration, miscellaneous work, and cleanup. A physical and original hard copy of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check must be delivered to Clinton City Hall prior to the bid date and time in order to be considered a legal bid. The low bidder must return the signed contract and performance bond by the specified date and will be required to sign a statement to comply with the City of Clinton's Safety Manual. The Notice to Proceed is anticipated to be issued on 5th day of October. The project shall be substantially completed within seventy-five (75) working days. All work under the contract shall be completed by May 31, 2027 Question Deadline 08/14/2026 at 12:00 PM CT All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents are to be submitted to the City Engineer by email through the online bidding site.
