Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Leicester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of installing approx. 750 LF of DI water main within the existing paved roadway of Main St (Rt 9) and installing approx. 200 LF of HDPE water main beneath Kettle Brook via directional drilling. The work includes all associated appurtenances, service connections, hydrants, tie ins, and roadway restoration. Estimated Cost $565,000 Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount and in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. CONTRACT NO. 2 QA date - 7-14-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five business days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
