Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Adel, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.
The City of Adel intends to enter into a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract for the potential construction of a new Public Safety facility. The City will use a two-step solicitation process to select a Construction Manager at-Risk (CMaR) for the project, based on 'best value.' CMaR Statement of Qualification (SOQ) submittals will be ranked using these criteria: Firm Profile & Background, Applicable Project Experience, Qualifications, References, Project Team and Company Structure, Proposed Delivery Method & Management Processes, and Safety Record & Internal Safety Program. During the proposal stage, qualified respondents will be required to submit their proposed fees and may be asked to interview. The City of Adel will select the respondent that offers the best value according to the published selection criteria and ranking evaluation.
