Reference Number 0000427516 This project includes the construction of a new water main, including installation of valves, hydrants, water services, and curb stops. The project also includes construction of new concrete curb and gutter to establish revised road geometry, new sidewalks, and temporary asphalt drive approaches. Full-depth asphalt pavement will be constructed within Eton Road, between Humphrey Avenue and East Lincoln Street, at locations where water service connections cross the roadway and at main line connections within the three intersections. This project includes replacing the existing water services via two alternates - open-cut installation and directionally drilled installation. Major work items include: 1,522 linear feet of new water main; 25 gate valves; 3 fire hydrants; 827 linear feet of water service connections; 207 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter; 575 square yards of full-depth asphalt pavement; 269 square yards of temporary asphalt drive approaches; 2,235 square feet of new concrete sidewalks; and other items to make a complete project. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid must accompany each bid proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bid Work shall not commence before Labor Day, Monday September 7th, 2026; The Contractor shall have the project substantially completed by Friday, October 30th , 2026.
