The construction includes site work, erosion and sedimentation control, traffic control, installation of gravity sanitary sewer, installation of gravity sanitary sewer manholes, installation of sanitary sewer lateral connections, all required restoration of driveway, pavement, lawn, concrete, and other disturbed areas or features, testing, and televising The intent of this contract is to set forth requirements for the construction of a gravity sanitary sewer extension for Alsace Township. The sanitary sewer extension is to be constructed along Pricetown Road (Route 12) to provide public sanitary sewer service to the homes and businesses along the route. The construction includes all required erosion and sedimentation controls, approximately 1,900 LF of Gravity Sanitary Sewer, eleven (11) sanitary sewer manholes, twenty-two (22) sanitary sewer laterals installed to the right-of-way of the road, a proposed stream crossing of Bernhart Creek, testing and televising of the proposed gravity sanitary sewer, and restoration of all disturbed areas. This project is subject to the requirements of COVID-19 ARPA H2O Grant Contract, a Berks County Conservation District Issued Utility Stream Crossing Permit, and a PennDOT issued Highway Occupancy Permit.
