Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gimli, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Road Utility Repair: Repair areas as per Schedule A1 by milling at least 50 mm deep by 300 mm wide around asphalted utility cuts, removing and hauling millings to a site designated by the owner, applying tack oil, and filling with A1 asphalt to restore a smooth driving surface with no shoulder drop off. For Schedule A2 locations with new, gravel-filled utility cuts: mill at least 50 mm deep by 300 mm wide around the cut, remove and haul millings, excavate to 100 mm, compact the base, apply tack oil and install 100 mm A1 asphalt. If the base is unsuitable, excavate 400 mm, fill with 300 mm compacted ¾” down limestone, compact base, and supply tack oil and 100 mm A1 asphalt. Excavated material may be used to regrade the shoulder. The disposal area for excavated asphalt will be designated by the owner. The contractor is responsible for all materials and locates. Road Patching: Patch areas as per Schedule B by preparing the site, applying tack oil, and adding A1 asphalt to remove depressions and restore a smooth surface with no shoulder drop off. For patches as per Schedule C, mill at least 50 mm deep, remove and haul millings to a site designated by the owner, prepare the site, apply tack oil, and add A1 asphalt to restore the roadway.
