Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for a road project involving paving Etter Road (T-456) from the bridge to Tallow Hill Road, approximately 7,497 feet in length and 20 feet in width. The work includes providing and placing approximately 141 tons of 25mm base course PG64S-22, compacted to 4 inches for 265 feet in the area of a new culvert; approximately 1,000 tons of 1 inch 9.5 scratch and leveling course, PG64-22; and approximately 1,574 tons of Superpave 9.5mm wearing course, 1.5 inch compacted depth 9.5mm overlay PG64-22, SRL L or better, in place. All joints must be sealed. Complete specifications and work location details will be furnished with bid forms. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the municipality. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Bituminous price adjustment specifications per PennDOT Pub. 408, Prevailing Wages, and E-Verify program requirements apply.
