Bids are being solicited for the construction of the Canonsburg Senior Center Renovation Project No. LS 25-03. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, in the form specified in the contract documents. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as specified in the contract documents are to be paid on this project. The contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment on the basis of race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Bidders are required to be able to initiate work within 14 days of contract execution and complete all work within 60 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held for up to forty-five (45) days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to awarding the contract. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration. Renovations: General construction for renovations to the existing facility to include, but not be limited to, removal of existing infill wall, aluminum framed windows, doors, hardware, and existing exterior concrete sidewalk.
