Site work for a road / highway in Saint Clair, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work consists of 1 acre of clearing, 4,030 cubic yards of excavation, 1,280 cubic yards of non-hazardous material handling and disposal, 8,050 cubic yards of embankment, 11,700 square yards of restoration, and miscellaneous items. The work must be performed in accordance with the current Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction, Standard Plans, and Supplemental Specifications. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or a bid bond from a solvent bank in Michigan, payable to the St. Clair County Road Commission, or a bid bond amounting to five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract. Proposal blanks and supplemental specifications are available on the Bid Express Website. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities, and make awards in the best interest of the County. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, disability, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
