The proposed work includes all labor, materials, tools, supplies, utility and transportation services, equipment and all incidentals necessary for the Bid #26-77 2026 Neighborhood Streets Preservation Program - Package A (Sealcoat). This program is a targeted approach to rehabilitate approximately 3.2 lane-miles of residential roadways using two highly cost-effective pavement preservation techniques: thin-lift asphalt overlay and seal coating. Performing these treatments now will extend the service life of these 14 neighborhood street networks, protecting the city's infrastructure assets and preventing the need for far more expensive full-depth road reconstruction. This project will consist of three (3) bid packages. Package A is sealcoat and Package B is thin-lift overlay (West) and Package C is thin-lift overlay (East). For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - There are no working days for this contract. The Contractor shall complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment for the bid by October 30,2026.
