Site work and paving for a road / highway in Redstone Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Bids are solicited for road reconstruction projects in various areas of Redstone Township (2611) and Brownsville Township (2612). Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, are available electronically from the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Fayette. A Bid Bond or other security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. Work on the projects is subject to Federal and State requirements, including prevailing wages, non-discrimination in hiring and employment, and minority and women business enterprise utilization. The Redevelopment Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held for up to sixty (60) days from the date of opening. MBE/WBE/DBE participation is encouraged. Bid books may be obtained from the Redevelopment Authority. Every interpretation made to a Bidder will be in the form of an Addendum to the Contract Documents and, when issued, will be on file in the office of the Local Public Agency at least five days before Bids are opened.
