The project is generally described as roof access and fall safety improvements for King Community Center and Davis Hall, located at Southwest Virginia Community College, Cedar Bluff, Virginia. This project is generally described as the installation of 2 fixed roof access ladders, installation of 2 roof guardrail systems, installation of one fall anchor to be compatible with existing horizontal lifeline system, and repair roof after installing anchor and guardrail (Contractor to verify all quantities) in accordance with Plans, Specifications & all Addendum. Question Deadline 07/09/2026 Bidders must so act to assure that questions reach the A/E at least six (6) days prior to the time set for the receipt of bids to allow a sufficient time for an addendum to reach all bidders before the submission of their bids. Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Roof Access and Fall Protection Improvements at King Community Center and Davis Hall at Southwest Virginia Community College. The project includes the installation of two fixed roof access ladders, two roof guardrail systems, one fall anchor compatible with the existing horizontal lifeline system, and repair of the roof after installing the anchor and guardrail, all as specified in the Plans and Specifications, including any Addenda. All sealed bids must be submitted electronically or delivered as specified. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond (form CO-10.2) is required for all bids. Bidders must be registered vendors in eVA. The contractor will be required to process all pay applications and invoices through the Owner's web-based project management software, e-Builder, with support provided as necessary. Bids may be modified according to the Instructions to Bidders.
