A proposal is requested for a one-year period for the mowing of approximately 300 miles of municipal roadside and ditches. Contractor to carry out work in a quality and uniform way with minimal damages to municipal culverts and signage. Start date to be determined by Council, as conditions will allow. Work to be completed by October 31st or a penalty of $500.00 per day will apply. Extensions may be granted subject to prior Council approval. Each bidder must provide their Worker’s Compensation Board and G.S.T. registration numbers where indicated. Council may retain 25% hold back subject to completion and all pricing will remain the same within the specified Ward as awarded by tender. Lowest or any proposal not necessarily accepted. Any additional information may be attached to the proposal form. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
