Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Buchanan, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Installation of an ADA-accessible floating kayak launch, timber pile-supported boardwalk, reinforced concrete boat ramp, timber ice protection piles, site grading for parking and driveways, HMA paving, storm sewer piping installation, concrete sidewalks, site amenities, and landscaping/site restoration. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. The project consists of 1.) Installing an ADA-accessible single-vessel floating kayak launch complete with a 40-foot by 5-foot gangway system, 2.) Constructing a 6-foot-wide, 185-square-foot timber pile-supported boardwalk supported on the landward side by a reinforced concrete abutment, 3.) Installing timber ice protection piles upstream of all in-water improvements, 4.) Site grading for proposed and future parking areas, driveways, sidewalks and stormwater detention basins, 5.) HMA paving for proposed parking areas and drives, 6.) Constructing a reinforced concrete boat ramp utilizing a cast-in-place or precast concrete panel system complete with surface texturing, rubber belt wheel stops, and riprap toe protection, 7.) Furnishing and installing a 40-foot by 5-foot removable timber skid pier, 8.) Constructing ADA-compliant 4-inch non-reinforced porous concrete sidewalks, 9.) Installing proposed storm sewer piping and associated drainage structures, 10.) Furnishing and installing miscellaneous site amenities including bench seating, trash and recycling receptacles, pavement markings and symbols, ADA signage, and park signage, and 11.) Site restoration, seeding, and landscaping with specified seed mixes and native plantings as identified in the project plans. 12.)
