The project will create a modern facility of approximately 1,935 square feet, featuring offices, a conference room, restrooms, a kitchen/break area, a service area, a retail store area, and a 418-square-foot canopy pavilion. Additional work includes pavements, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, landscaping, electrical and plumbing installations, area lighting, and the safe demolition of the existing gatehouse. The work will take place within the perimeter of Scales Lake Park at 800 West Tennyson Road, Boonville, Indiana. This bid process is conducted in accordance with Indiana public works law, including Indiana Code 36-1-12. The contractor will be tasked with the careful and safe demolition of the existing gatehouse structure, ensuring that all materials are handled properly and in compliance with safety regulations. This includes coordinating necessary utility disconnections, such as water, electricity, sewage, data/fiber, security, and fire suppression systems, to facilitate a smooth transition to the new construction phase. Following demolition, the contractor will conduct a thorough site cleanup, removing all debris and hazardous materials to prepare the area for development. Once the site is cleared, the contractor will begin preparing to construct a new gatehouse with a total floor area of approximately 1,935 square feet and a 418-square-foot covered canopy pavilion. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and services necessary to construct and complete the project in accordance with the Public Works Bid Packet, the drawings and specifications prepared by Morley Architects, Engineers, & Surveyors, all addenda, and applicable law.
