The City of Paterson is seeking Qualification Statements from interested persons and/or firms for the provision of general engineering services. Interested parties must prepare and submit a Qualification Statement in accordance with the procedure and schedule set forth in the RFQ. Only those who submit a timely Qualification Statement containing all required information will be reviewed. The City intends to qualify those who possess the professional, financial, and administrative capabilities to provide the proposed services, and who agree to and meet the terms and conditions determined by the City. The procurement process is designed to be competitive, fair, and open to ensure each person or firm has an equal opportunity to submit a Qualification Statement. The selection process is guided by the “New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play” Law, not the bidding provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law. Any Request for Qualification package not obtained from the City of Paterson Purchasing Division will not be considered. Qualification Statements must be delivered in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the vendor and identifying the services sought, and must be received by the designated agent at the specified location by the stated deadline. Facsimile or e-mail submissions will not be accepted, and late submissions will be automatically rejected and returned to the sender.
