The City of Hemet is seeking a qualified Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, tools and materials necessary to remodel the kitchen and bathrooms at Fire Station 3. City reserves the right to award all or only a portion of the work described in the solicitation. Depending on available funding and bid pricing, the City may elect to proceed with only the kitchen remodel, one bathroom remodel, or any combination of the identified project components. Kitchen - Approximately 130 sq. ft. (Base Bid) Remove and dispose of all existing flooring, cabinets, countertops, kitchen island, oven, stovetop, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Furnish and install new flooring, cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet, recessed LED lighting, lighting fixtures, and a new kitchen island. The new kitchen island shall include a gas range (combined oven and stovetop unit) and a new vent hood. The existing dishwasher and two (2) refrigerators shall be reused and reconnected. Bathroom 1 - Approximately 48 sq. ft. (Additive Alternate Bid No. 1) Remove and dispose of all existing flooring, shower, vanity, sink, toilet, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Furnish and install new floor tile, shower wall tile, shower doors, vanity, sink, faucet, toilet, LED lighting, and all new bathroom fixtures. Bathroom 2 - Approximately 50 sq. ft. (Additive Alternate Bid No. 2) Remove and dispose of all existing flooring, shower, vanity, sink, toilet, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Furnish and install new floor tile, shower wall tile, shower doors, vanity, sink, faucet, toilet, LED lighting, and all new bathroom fixtures. Bathroom 3 - Approximately 50 sq. ft. (Additive Alternate Bid No. 3) Remove and dispose of all existing flooring, shower, vanity, sink, toilet, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. Furnish and install new floor tile, shower wall tile, shower doors, vanity, sink, faucet, toilet, LED lighting, and all new bathroom fixtures.
