Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Work included under this project consists of the installation of a new Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection System to replace the existing UV system at the Greater Uniontown Joint Sewage Plant Authority Treatment Plant. Proposed improvements generally include: construction of a new, dual channel concrete UV Structure and appurtenances complete, including: modification to existing process piping, installation of UV equipment, installation of concrete channel, building, crane system, electrical work, select demolition within the existing UV channel, and miscellaneous site improvements. Work includes the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction in accordance with the Contract Documents. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit from QuestCDN using the specified project number. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Authority. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, made payable to the Authority to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes or municipal ordinances. The project is being financed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority. Bidders must agree to comply with all requirements associated with the funding including but not limited to Davis Bacon Wage Rates and American Iron and Steel Act. Procurement is subject to requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act and The Public Works Employment Verification Act. The Authority shall award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder or reject all bids received within the specified period. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The Successful Bidder will be required to meet all Federal Requirements and Certifications in specified Executive Orders. Bidders will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
