(Re-bid) Ultraviolet System Replacement Work Included Under This Project Consists of the Installation of a New Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection System to Replace the Existing UV System at the Greater Uniontown Joint Sewage Plant Authority (Gujspa) Treatment Plant. Proposed Improvements Generally Include: Construction of a New, Dual Channel Concrete UV Structure and Appurtenances Complete, Including: Modification to Existing Process Piping, Installation of UV Equipment, Installation of Concrete Channel, Building, Crane System, Electrical Work, Select Demolition Within the Existing UV Channel, and Miscellaneous Site Improvements. Work Includes, but is Not Limited to the Furnishing of All Labor, Superintendence, Materials, Tools and Equipment and Performing All Work Necessary to Complete All Construction in Accordance With the Contract Documents. he Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid, Made Payable to Gujspa to Guarantee the Bidder's Entrance Into the Contract if Given the Award. Gujspa Shall (a) Award the Construction Contract to the Lowest Responsible Bidder Therefore, or (B) Reject All Bids Received Within Ninety (90) Days of the Date of Bid Opening; Provided, However, That Gujspa May, in Its Sole Discretion, Delay Such Award or Rejection for Up to One Hundred Twenty (120) Days From the Bid Opening Date Until Gujspa Has Received All Required Approvals From Other Governmental Agencies. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for Ninety (90) Calendar Days After the Scheduled Time for Receipt of Bids. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Meet All Federal Requirements and Certifications in Executive Order Nos. 11246 and 11375.
