Pasquotank County is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to complete a secured parking lot project, which includes furnishing and installing approximately 170 linear feet of 6-foot-tall black industrial-grade aluminum ornamental fencing, one 3-foot pedestrian gate, one 4-foot pedestrian gate, one approximately 20-foot automatic vertical pivot gate with remote controls, any required concrete or asphalt pad necessary for gate motor installation, an extension of the existing parking pad measuring approximately 38 feet by 18 feet utilizing asphalt or concrete, all electrical wiring and connections required for the operation of the automatic gate to be performed by a licensed/certified electrician, and removal of one dogwood tree if necessary. The bidder is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, inspections, and incidental items necessary to complete the project in a safe and professional manner. Bids must be: 1. Provided on company letterhead. 2. Include a copy of insurance for at least $1,000,000. 3. Include a completed W9 form. 4. Comply with North Carolina's Worker's Compensation Act, and if excluded, adequate insurance is required for injuries sustained during service performance. 5. Comply with local, state, and/or federal regulations. 6. Possess and maintain all licenses required by North Carolina and any other applicable authority for the performance of the work, and be responsible for obtaining all required permits, inspections, and approvals. 7. Submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled with the bid number.
