Site work for an industrial development in Elkton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a industrial development.
The contract involves the construction of an access road, gravel building pads for future industrial development, and various site grading including site drainage and a retention pond to serve the Walton Business Park off U.S. 68/80, all in the city limits of Elkton, Kentucky. Bids shall be prepared in compliance with the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be accepted only from registered contractors holding approved bid forms provided by the Issuing Office. No Bid will be considered unless accompanied by a cashier's, certified or bank check or a Bid Bond equal to at least five percent of the maximum Bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that after a Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Agreement and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen days after the tentative Notice of Award. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest, responsive, responsible Bid. The Todd County Industrial Foundation reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the time set for opening Bids. Question Deadline 07/09/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
