The City of Sept-Îles is inviting tenders for ventilation, electrical and control works, including, but not limited to, the items listed below. Mechanical Room No. 1 (at the top of the east staircase) Replacement of the starters for the supply fan and return fan of the main central ventilation system at the Social and Recreational Centre (System No. 1). These controls will be replaced by variable frequency drives (VFDs). The works must be carried out in accordance with the technical drawings and specifications prepared by TR3E, which form an integral part of this invitation to tender. Plant Room No. 2 (at the top of the west staircase) Replacement of the supply air fan for the gymnasium at the Social and Recreational Centre (System No. 5). The existing supply fan has a flow rate of 12,000 pcm and a 7.5HP motor. The fan and its motor will be replaced by two fans with a flow rate of 6,000 pcm and two 5HP motors. The contract includes connecting the motors and running the cable to the motor control centre (MCC), as well as coiling and securing any excess cable near the MCC. The connection to the MCC itself and the adjustment of the protective covers on the existing starters, which are to be retained, will be carried out by the City.
