The project consists of construction of a new traffic signal and associated intersection improvements at the intersection of SW I Street (Highway 112) and SW 41st Street in Bentonville, Arkansas. Work includes installation of traffic signal poles, mast arms, signal heads, detection equipment, conduits, wiring, and related electrical components; demolition and removal of existing pavement, sidewalks, and miscellaneous improvements; grading and earthwork necessary to construct new improvements; construction and reconstruction of concrete sidewalks, ADA-compliant curb ramps, and pedestrian crossings; installation of curb and gutter; pavement marking and striping; and restoration of disturbed areas. Additional work includes erosion and sediment control measures, traffic control during construction, utility coordination relocation as required, and all incidental work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. All work shall conform to applicable City of Bentonville and Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) requirements. Instructions to bidders: All Bid Submissions must be received by CEI Engineering and Associates prior to the Public Bid Opening time. Late Submissions, unsigned Submissions and Submissions which do not contain the required Bid Bond will be rejected, without exception. It is the responsibility of vendors to submit responses at the designated location before the Bid Opening date and time.
