Site work and renovation of a communication facility in Chehalis, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a communication facility; and for site work for a communication facility.
Installation of 24kW Generac standby generators and associated Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) at multiple radio sites to provide backup power. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond. Question Deadline 07/06/2026 at 5:00 PM PT Scope of work shall include, but not be limited to: Site preparation , excavation, and utility locating services as required by local jurisdiction requirements Installation of generator equipment on a weather-resistant elevated stand a minimum of two (2) feet above finished grade. Installation of reinforced concrete foundation/pad constructed to manufacturer specifications and applicable code requirements Installation of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Electrical connections between generator, ATS, and existing electrical service/panel Integration of ATS to feed the existing electrical distribution panel Installation of all required conduit, conductors, disconnects, controls, and associated electrical infrastructure Installation and bonding of grounding systems to the existing site grounding system . Weatherproof sealing of all penetrations and exterior conduit entries. Installation of all alarm, monitoring, and control equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications installed inside the shelter. Coordination with Owner and third-party fuel contractor for final fuel system connection requirements. Site restoration of disturbed areas resulting from construction activities. Contractor performing work at the Democrat site shall be properly certified and authorized to work at American Tower facilities and shall comply with all applicable American Tower site access, safety, training, and operational requirements. Fuel tank, fuel supply, and associated fuel system components shall be furnished and installed by others under a separate contract. Any planned power interruptions, electrical disconnects, or service outages shall be coordinated with the Owner in advance to prevent disruption to active 911 communications systems. Contractor shall provide complete startup, commissioning, and operational testing of the installed system including generator startup, ATS transfer testing, voltage and frequency verification, alarm verification, and simulated utility outage testing. Owner reserves the right to witness all testing activities prior to project acceptance This project provides for the turnkey installation of standby generator systems at multiple County radio communications sites to ensure continuous, reliable power for critical public safety infrastructure. The Contractor shall furnish all permits, labor, materials, equipment, and services required to install Generac 24kW standby generators, associated Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), electrical components, foundations, grounding systems, and all related infrastructure necessary for complete and operational standby power systems at the identified locations. Work will include site preparation, equipment installation , electrical integration with existing site systems, compliance with manufacturer specifications and all applicable codes, complete system testing and commissioning, and coordination with site owners and third -party fuel contractors. Site-specific requirements, including the full electrical buildout at the Mineral site and American Tower access requirements at the Democrat site, shall be adhered to in full. Upon completion, each site shall have a fully functional , code-compliant standby power system capable of supporting uninterrupted radio operations during commercial power outages. Upon completion of project, contractor will supply a Project Closeout Documentation Binder with information found in the attachment C.
