The BASE Bid Includes Roadway, Utility, and Related Infrastructure Improvements Along Calle Carrosel From Nm 273 to Calle Diaz and Along Calle Obregon From Calle Carrosel to the New Mexico-texas State LINE. The Work Generally Consists of Demolition, Subgrade Preparation, Construction of Two Travel Lanes, Curb and Gutter, Sidewalks, Adacompliant Curb Ramps, Driveway, Rock/Mortar Retaining Wall Reconstruction, Waterline Replacement, Sanitary Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation, Traffic Control, Pavement Markings, and Other Associated Improvements. Additive Alternate Includes Roadway Improvements on Calle Obregon From the New Mexico-texas State LINE Approximately 44 Feet Into the State of Texas. The Work Generally Consists of Demolition, Construction of Two Travel Lanes, Curb and Gutter, Sidewalk, and Driveway Reconstruction. Additive Alternate No. 1 - Asphalt Pavement: Includes Construction of the Asphalt Pavement Section Within the BASE Bid Project Limits Along Calle Carrosel and Calle Obregon. The Work Generally Consists of Aggregate BASE Course, Prime Coat, Tack Coat, 3-inch Hot-mix Asphalt Pavement, Geotextile, and Geogrid Reinforcement. Additive Alternate No. 2 - Concrete Pavement: Includes Construction of the Concrete Pavement Section Within the BASE Bid Project Limits Along Calle Carrosel and Calle Obregon. The Work Generally Consists of Aggregate BASE Course, 6-inch Concrete Pavement, Geotextile, and Geogrid Reinforcement. Additive Alternate No. 3 - Texas Portion, Asphalt Pavement: Includes Roadway and Utility Improvements Within the Texas Portion of Calle Obregon, Utilizing Asphalt Pavement. The Work Generally Consists of Demolition, Subgrade Preparation, Aggregate BASE Course, 3-inch Hot-mix Asphalt Pavement, Curb and Gutter, Sidewalk, Driveway Reconstruction, and Associated Waterline Improvements. Additive Alternate No. 4 - Texas Portion, Concrete Pavement: Includes Roadway and Utility Improvements Within the Texas Portion of Calle Obregon, Utilizing Concrete Pavement. The Work Generally Consists of Demolition, Subgrade Preparation, Aggregate BASE Course, 6-inch Concrete Pavement, Curb and Gutter, Sidewalk, Driveway Reconstruction, and Associated Waterline Improvements. Additive Alternate No. 5 - Lift Station Security Fence Improvements: Includes Improvements at the Lift Station Consisting of Site Clearing, Subgrade Preparation, Aggregate BASE Course, Geotextile, Header Curb, Crusher Fines, Rock Glue, and Installation of Approximately 120 Linear Feet of Security Fencing. Additive Alternates Nos. 1 and 2 Represent Alternative Pavement Options for the BASE Bid Project Limits and Will Not Be Awarded Both. Additive Alternates Nos. 3 and 4 Represent Alternative Pavement Options for the Texas Portion of Calle Obregon and Will Not Be Awarded Both. Award of Additive Alternate No. 3 or No. 4, as Well as Additive Alternate No. 5, Will Be Subject to the Availability of Project Funding.
