Renovation of an educational facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work consists of a full fire alarm system replacement at Enderis and Curtin Halls at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. All work for this project will be awarded to a single trade electrical contractor. Bidders must be certified by the Department of Administration as qualified and responsible in the electrical division prior to submitting bids. Only PDF files of all required bid documents, including bid and bid bond forms with original wet signatures or properly transmitted electronic signatures, will be accepted. Bids may be submitted via the eBuilder Bidding Portal (preferred), by mail or third-party delivery, or by hand delivery to the designated location. Bidders are responsible for timely delivery of sealed bids. A single lump sum bid for all work is required. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany each submission. Contract offer and construction phase records will be processed electronically via eBuilder. State prevailing wage requirements do not apply. Bidding documents are available as electronic files from the Division's Projects Bidding website, and a non-mandatory pre-bid tour is scheduled.
