Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Mascoutah, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Proposed work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install new Emergency Call Boxes along the SCCTD Bike Trail System. The scope covers removal of trash, final grading, seeding, fertilizing, and mulching at specified locations. All work must comply with the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction issued by the Illinois Department of Transportation, and the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Construction in Illinois, in the edition effective at bidding. No less than the prevailing wage rate, as set by Illinois law, is to be paid. A project labor agreement is required. Bidders must inspect project limits before bidding. Each bid must include a security of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, and the successful bidder will provide a Performance Bond for the full bid amount. No bid will be opened from any entity not a documented bid holder of record with the St. Clair County Transit District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or technicalities in the process.
