This Contract provides for improvements to ADA facilities and roadway preservation including grind and overlay on North Kelsey St from US2 to the intersection of the Chain Lake Road Roundabout. The anticipated work includes placement of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA Cl. 1/2 in. PG 58H-22), pavement repair, planning, construction of ADA ramps, pavement markings, utility adjustments, temporary traffic control and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. Bidders are required to include a Bidder's Questionnaire (WSDOT form 272-022) in accordance with special provisions section 1-02.6. Bids that do not include this form at the time of bid will be rejected in accordance with Section 1-02.13 of the special provisions. Subcontractor lists must be submitted within the deadline listed on the Bidders Checklist or the individual forms. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, money order, or bid bond (with authorized surety company as surety) made payable to the City of Monroe and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid including sales tax, if applicable. Cash will not be accepted. The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is $ 1,137,520.20 The project has an 11% FSBE goal.
