Installation and improvement of water and sewer utility systems at Fire Station 72. Design and Engineering: Donna Breske & Associates has completed the design and a three- page drawing set with a Professional Enigineer's stamp date of 6/24/2026. The reviewing and permitting entity for both the sewer and water main extensions is Alderwood Water and Wastewater District, (AWWD). The AWWD Developer Extension Agreement number is DEA 3926G sheets. Of note, is the point of connection for the sewer extension is to an existing Sliver Lake Sewer and Water District, (SLWSD), sewer main with the use of a saddle manhole. Construction: Installation of approximately 807 linear feet of sewer main piping. Installation of approximately 790 linear feet of water main piping. Excavation, trenching, backfilling, and pavement restoration as required Connection of the AWWD new sewer main to the existing SLSWD sewer system. Connection of the new AWWD water main to the existing AWWD water system. Installation of lateral connections from the sewer and water mains to Fire Station 72. Testing and inspection to ensure compliance with applicable standards The majority of the installation of both the sewer and water mains are within the public (Snohomish County) right of way of 35th SE. Decommissioning of existing septic system per Snohomish Health Department standards. Decommissioning of existing well per Snohomish County Health Department standards.
