Renovation of a transportation facility in Minot AFB, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Demolish and remove the existing central station indoor air handling unit, roof mounted DX condensing unit, pneumatic controls, existing Variable Air Volume (VAV) terminal units, associated control devices, and miscellaneous mechanical components as indicated on the drawings. Furnish and install a new central station indoor air handling unit with DX cooling coil and all required accessories. Furnish and install a new roof-mounted air-cooled condensing unit including refrigerant piping, controls, and associated accessories. Furnish and install new VAV terminal units with hot water reheat coils (as scheduled), including new hose kits, balancing valves, and required accessories. Modify existing ductwork as required to accommodate new equipment and VAV terminal units. Furnish and install new refrigerant piping, condensate piping, and associated insulation for the new cooling system throughout the building that is not associated with the new VAV or condensing units. Furnish and install two new roof-mounted restroom exhaust fans, including ductwork modifications, including electrical disconnection, reconnection and related mechanical coordination for a complete and functioning installation. Replace the existing pneumatic temperature control system with a complete direct digital control (DDC) system, including new controllers, sensors, actuators, control valves dampers, programming, graphics, trending, alarms, and system integration. Remove abandoned pneumatic control tubing, devices, air compressors, and associated control components no longer required. Rebalance the air distribution system and provide Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) of all affected HVAC systems. Provide equipment startup, functional performance testing, control system commissioning support, and operator training. Patch and repair finishes, examples including but not limited to acoustic ceiling tile grid, roofing, disturbed by any work. Dispose of demolished materials in accordance with applicable codes and regulations. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, supervision, and incidental work necessary for a complete and operational HVAC system as indicated in the Contract Documents.
