Site work for a water / sewer project in McConnell AFB, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work consists of removing existing water meters in Buildings 3, 4, 33, 36, 37, 40, 41, 42, 48, 49, 50, and 65, and installing new Sierra Instruments 203-4-CP-NIST Ultrasonic Digital Liquid Flow Meters with Modbus communication. The effort includes conducting pre-installation site assessments to evaluate existing configurations, verify pipe materials and sizes, identify access restrictions, coordinate utility shutdowns, and assess existing DDC system interfaces. The contractor shall provide and install dedicated power sources as needed, integrate the meters with existing DDC systems both physically and through software, and perform startup, calibration, and operational testing to ensure accurate flow measurement and data reporting. Work also includes site cleanup and submission of installation reports, calibration certificates, and operation and maintenance manuals, with coordination required for programming and integration with existing systems. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
