Provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to perform beach and dune renourishment along approximately 5.5 miles of shoreline on Anna Maria Island. Work includes a base effort covering approximately 4.1 miles between FDEP range monuments R-11.9 and R-33.4, with an option for an additional 1.4 miles between R-33.4 and R-41.3. Sand material will be dredged from designated offshore borrow areas and transported to the placement site to restore beach and dune systems. The project also includes beach tilling and screening, vibration control and monitoring, environmental protection measures, water quality monitoring, and sea turtle trawl-sweeping for hopper dredging operations. Following placement, dune vegetation planting will be performed to stabilize restored areas. Additional tasks include marine environmental compliance activities and munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) construction support. All work requires the use of U.S. Coast Guard certified dredging equipment and must be completed within the specified performance period, including final site cleanup.
