This Contract provides for the installation of storm pipe, storm structures, asphalt restoration and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions and the Standard Specifications. Contractor s hall furnish and install approximately 70' L F o f 12" storm pipe, 120 L F o f 12" perforated storm pipe with infiltration trench, 4 standard precast drywells, and (2) 2-filter cartridge catch basins connected with 8' pipe and flexible couplers within the street. Contractor shall fill existing swale to grade, remove a ditch inlet, and abandon 1 pipe and 1 manhole. Contractor shall also restore roadway pavement on completion of construction. The Contract Work shall be Physically Complete within 45 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. The stormwater conveyance system located at NE 157th Court cul-de-sac discharges runoff to an existing swale that is located in an easement that overlays several private residential lots. The stormwater swale is difficult to access due to private structures located in the vicinity. The City is interested in implementing an alternative stormwater system to reduce the need to maintain a facility outside of the right-of-way. The proposed design will remove the existing curb inlet catch basin, conveyance/perforated piping, and bioretention swale. The existing drywell will remain in place. The removed portions of the stormwater system will be replaced with: - Two Stormfilter Catchbasins (totaling 4 cartridges). - Four, 13-foot deep 48-inch diameter drywells connected in series via 12-inch perforateted pipe. - Backfill bioretention swale with select borrow/topsoil and hydroseeded with lawn.
