The project generally involves converting the Town of Glenrock's existing overhead electric to underground along n W. Cedar St and W. Aspen St, and the alley between W. Birch and W. Aspen Streets, from 3.5 Alley to S 2nd Street. The Contractor will trench, bore, and install PVC conduit, backfill, and install RMP-furnished transformer pads, vaults, and junction boxes to route new underground primary and secondary electric service to existing customer services in the project area. Work includes coordinating new meter bases, CT cabinets, and service reconnections for each affected building. Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) will separately remove the existing overhead poles, conductors, and fixtures, and will furnish the new transformers and switching equipment; the Contractor is responsible for all trenching, conduit, pad vault installation, and restoring all disturbed surfaces, including asphalt, concrete, gravel, and landscaping, to original or better condition. Sealed bids must be submitted online through QuestCDN. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty days after the date set for opening thereof. The Town of Glenrock reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding; provided, however, that any bid received after the time specified or without accompanying Bid Guaranty will not be considered. Attendance in the Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory for contractors who wish to be considered qualified and or responsible.
