Installation and removal of temporary cofferdams to allow for the replacement of an existing pipe culvert supporting Broadford Road over Broadford Lake (Structure G-145). Scope: The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for the installation and removal of temporary cofferdams to allow the existing pipe culvert supporting Broadford Rd over Broadford Lake (Structure G- 145) to be replaced by a Garrett County construction crew . This project involves the installation and removal of temporary cofferdams to allow the existing pipe culvert supporting Broadford Rd over Broadford Lake (Structure G- 145) to be replaced by a Garrett County construction crew. The work shall also include installation of a temporary bypass line across the causeway and dewatering of the work site. The County will monitor and fuel the bypass pumps. The County will also be responsible for obtaining all permits and shall complete all other work including excavations, installation of sediment control measures, traffic control, guardrail removal and reinstatement, removal of existing pipe, installation of new pipe, backfilling, and revegetating the embankments This Contract shall also include supplying any and all special equipment and tools necessary to install and remove the cofferdam. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond.
