The Project involves the construction of interior improvements at Cameron Indoor Tennis, including indirect sports lighting integrated with an interior light-reflective liner system and other interior specialties. Work includes installing a light-reflective interior liner system over and around the existing steel structure and roof-hung indirectly facing LED lights at each of four existing tennis courts as part of an integrated lighting system, removal and replacement of column protection pads at steel columns, removal of existing fluorescent tube lights at each tennis court, providing new indirect LED light fixtures with associated conduits, conductors, and controls, providing building code mandated emergency lighting, and compliance with the overall project schedule. A two-year warranty period is required, with liquidated damages for non-compliance with schedules. Alternate bids include removal and replacement of court divider curtains, addition of thermal insulation between reflective liner panels and existing steel framing at walls and roof, removal and replacement of perimeter wall screens backdrop curtains, addition of reflective liner wrapping around existing gable end wall columns to an elevation of about 7 feet above the existing floor, extension of the reflective liner system from base bid elevation to the finished floor, addition of thermal insulation between reflective liner panels and existing steel framing at walls from base bid elevation to the finished floor, painting of existing elements, and removal and replacement of emergency lighting at existing doors. Bids are requested for the General Construction Contract 1 and the specified alternate bid items.
