Sunnycrest Manor and the Board of Trustees are requesting bids to replace the existing Aerco Recon hot water boiler over to the Aerco Innovation 1060 hot water boiler. Scope of work: Demo and remove the existing Aerco Recon boiler/ hot water heater. o Provide the Aerco Innovation 1060 boiler/ hot water heater. o Existing building automation and temp sense systems to be disconnected from the Recon unit and reconnected to the new Aerco Innovation unit. o Modify, reconfigure, and install new piping from the existing Recon unit over to the new replacement Innovation 1060 unit. Contractors may use braze and or use press fittings where applicable with their installation following the manufacture's installation guidelines. o Existing intake and exhaust pipes to be modified, adapted to, or replaced meeting manufacture installation requirements for the Innovation 1060 unit. o Bidders to include a high-pressure gas regulator if the existing proves faulty. o Contractors to include pipe insulation. o Contractor to include all necessary wiring for the disconnect and reconnect. o Bidder to provide lead times on materials and start of work. o Complete startup and operational testing to be included on natural gas and our existing LP backup. Startup information and warranty paperwork to be provided and completed by the contractor. o Sunnycrest Manor must be notified five business workdays prior to starting work. Contractors who will be storing equipment and materials must notify Sunnycrest Manor so accommodation can be made. o Provide the option to allow the Board of Trustees to purchase all or any equipment and materials for this project if cost effective.
