Environmental remediation and underground storage tank (UST) removals at five wildlife facilities and HVAC system replacements at two locations. This project is in the following locations: Madison County at London Fish Hatchery, 2470 Roberts Mill Road, London, Ohio, 43410, Fayette County at Deer Creek Wildlife Area, 12552 Post Road, Mt. Sterling, Ohio 43143, Erie County at Resthaven Wildlife Area, 412 Cement Avenue, Castalia, Ohio, 44824, Williams County at Lake La Su An Wildlife Area, 09-455 County Road R, Pioneer, Ohio 43554, and Guernsey County at Salt Fork State Park, 76726 Salt Fork Wildlife Road, Lore City, Ohio, 43755 here is only one (1) contract for the work. All work will be under the General Trades Contract. B. General Trades - Base Bid. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Selective demolition including, but not limited to: a. b. n d. e. Remove and legally recycle or dispose of fuel oil heating systems including piping and all related appurtenances. 1) Coordinate decommissioning of five (5) existing underground storage tank (UST) systems. Backfill excavations to existing grade and replace surface conditions in accordance with the plans. Remove and legally recycle or dispose of two (2) fuel oil-fired heating furnaces including all associated piping, ductwork, controls, flues, appurtenances, etc. that will not be reused. Leave ready for installation of new propane-fired furnaces. Coordinate with propane supplier(s) and install new copper supply lines from exterior propane tank locations to new propane-fired furnace locations. Leave sufficient pipe to enable connections at both ends. Provide for an upgrade (as necessary) electrical connections for new propane fired furnaces. All demolished materials to be removed from site daily and legally recycled or disposed. 2. Furnish and install of two (2) new forced air propane-fired furnaces and related appurtenances (replaces existing oil-fired furnaces). Connect to existing ductwork 3. Furnish and install new hazardous gas monitor / alarm system and Appurtenances, as required by code. 4. Provide all electrical work associated with the above listed items, as noted on plans, and as required for completion of the work. 5. Contractor to maintain heat in all spaces at all times during construction. Provide temporary space heating, including fuel and power, as may be required.
