The City project is a locally funded complete streets project that will provide general improvements to Novato Blvd. between Diablo Avenue and Grant Avenue including bicycle and pedestrian facilities, clean water and storm drain facilities, as well as operational improvements like turn lanes and modern signalized intersections at Novato Blvd/Diablo Avenue, Novato Blvd/7th -Tamalpais Ave., and Novato Blvd/Grant Avenue. The project does not utilize State or Federal funding. The NMWD Novato Boulevard Improvement Project includes the installation of approximately 5800 feet of 12, 8 and 6-inch distribution water distribution lines (welded steel pipe with valves, fittings, lateral branches, hydrants and appurtenances), service tap connections, service laterals and pipe disinfection. The pipe will be installed starting just East of the Novato Boulevard/Diablo intersection to just West of the Novato Boulevard/Grant Avenue intersection. The NMWD project is locally funded and will not utilize State or Federal funding.
