The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) Housing NWT (HNWT) is requesting tenders from qualified contractors for modernization and improvements, interior renovations in one unit in Lutsel K'e, NT . CARPENTRY Patch and paint entire interior (approx. area 3050 sqft.) as per SECTION 25. Apply separate color paints on walls and on interior doors, shelving , casing, trim and baseboard. Supply and install one new 36" RH insulated front exterior door and one 36" LH insulated front exterior door. Both doors c/w jamb extensions (if needed), new casing, weather stripping, passage sets, Weiser deadbolt (on both doors) and low expanding foam. All installations to conform to SECTIONS 20 and 23. Key deadbolts to Lutsel K'e LHO master key. Replace broken/missing casing, trim and shelves as per SECTIONS 19 and 20. Remove and dispose of existing metal shelving units. Remove and dispose of existing kitchen cabinets and countertop at community landfill as per SECTION 02. Supply and install new kitchen cabinets and countertop as per SECTION 22 and drawing attached . Apply caulking where kick plate meets floor and where countertop ( backsplash) meets walls. Remove closet, bedroom and bathroom doors and dispose of at community landfill as per SECTION 02. Supply and install two new 32" (bedroom and closet) doors and one 30" bathroom door. All doors c/w passage set and privacy set, door stops and casing as per SECTION 21. Supply and install 35" x 78 1/2 " new closet folding doors as per SECTION 21 Supply and install new waterproof vinyl planking throughout, as per SECTION 15 and manufacturer's instructions. No new waterproof vinyl planking required on mechanical room floor; approximate area to be refloored is 850 sqft. Supply, paint and install new baseboards throughout as per SECTIONS 15, 20 and 25. Where needed, install edging and/or transition strips as per SECTION 15. Where needed, trim base of interior doors to accommodate new flooring. Remove and dispose of existing vanity cabinet at community landfill , as per SECTION Supply and install new 32" vanity cabinet c/w molded top and sink, as per SECTION Apply caulking where cabinets and countertop meet floor and walls. .Supply and install new eave trothing and down spouts. Level building (geodesic foundation) as per SECTION 05. 2.MECHANICAL Supply and install new kitchen (single) sink and faucet c/w new supply tubes and drain assembly as per SECTION 20 05 05 Mechanical General Work Instructions. Supply and install new vanity faucet c/w new supply tubes and drain assembly as per SECTION 20 05 05 Mechanical General Work Instructions. 3.ELECTRICAL Supply and install new 30" range hood as per SECTION 26 05 00 Electrical General Work Instructions. Where needed, replace broken/missing electrical cover plates as per SECTION 26 05 00 Electrical General Work Instructions. Remove existing light fixtures and dispose of at community landfill . Supply and install 11 new flush-mount LED fixtures as per SECTION 26 05 00 Electrical General Work Instructions.
