Renovation of a library in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Town of Sturbridge, MA, herein called the Owner, acting by and through its Board of Selectmen, will receive sealed Bids for the project known as the Joshua Hyde Elevator Modernization Project. The Work consists of the replacement of one hydraulic elevator at the Joshua Hyde Library, The Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and services and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications and conceptual plans attached hereto necessary for the modernization of existing elevator systems, including associated mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm modifications. Each Bid and filed sub-bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a Bid Bond, Cash, or, Certified Check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. A performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required for the faithful performance of the contract as well as a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract price. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Sub Bid Category Elevators, HVAC, & Electrical.
