Renovation of a military facility in Nellis AFB, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Construct and install two maintenance pads to support all condensing units and provide single-line as-built drawings. Install a two-sided CMU screen block enclosure at the front of the building matching the existing block color and style, using a combination of solid and vented CMU blocks to maintain adequate airflow. Screen walls shall extend two rows higher than the condensing units. Provide a weatherproof 120V maintenance receptacle for each pad, core drill the existing wall of Building 119, install a 3-inch PVC pipe sealed with acoustical seal to maintain ICD 705 compliance per Tech Spec 1.5.1, and insulate all line sets entering the building. Install all required electrical infrastructure from the existing electrical mechanical room using panel EDH 1-3 (480/277V, 800 amps), connect all new HVAC systems to the existing generator for backup power, surface-mount conduits within Room 119 and the exterior HVAC yard, route conduits underground to each maintenance pad, and provide a weatherproof disconnect for each condensing unit. Install new cassette-type HVAC systems in Rooms 112, 113, 114, and 132 using the existing suspended ceiling grid with additional support as required. Provide a 1-ton system with a dedicated controller for Room 112, 2-ton systems with dedicated controllers for Rooms 113 and 114, and a 4-ton system with a dedicated controller for Room 132. Perform installation, testing, and all associated work within a 160-day period of performance. All design and construction shall comply with current International Building Code requirements, UFC standards, applicable public laws, executive orders, CFR requirements, DOD instructions and directives, Nellis ID2 standards, and all applicable Clark County, Nevada, and federal codes and regulations. The project site is located 26 WPS, 4276 Tyndall Ave, Bldg 119, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada 89191. SBE (100%) Contractor shall construct & install 2 maintenance pads to house all condensing units . Contractor shall provide updated existing As- built to show new HVAC system and electrical single line. Contractor shall install 2-sided screen block wall in front of building 119, and the contractor shall match CMU block to the existing color and style. Contractors shall use solid and vented CMU blocks to allow for sufficient air flow around all condensing units. Screen block walls shall be 2 rows higher than the heights of condensing units. Contractor shall supply a maintenance, weatherproof, 120V electrical receptacle for each maintenance pad. Contractor shall core drill existing wall of building 119 and install 3" PVC pipe and seal the pipe with acoustical seal, the wall is a security wall and must maintain Intelligent community directive (ICD 705) guidance in the Tech Spec 1.5.1 of secure area construction. Contractor shall install insulation on all line set entering building 119 . Contractor shall run all electrical from room 119, electrical mechanical room, electrical panel EDH 1-3 , the panel is rated at 480/277V at 800Amps . All new VAC system will be tied to backup power, the existing generator. All electrical conduits will be surface mount from room 119 and the outside mechanical HVAC yard and underground to each of the maintenance pads. Contractor shall supply a weatherproof disconnect for each condensing unit. In each of the rooms, 112, 113, 114 & 132, contractors shall install all new cassette type HVAC system to the existing suspending ceiling system and additional support to support the HVAC cassette system to the suspending ceiling grid. Room 112 will require a 1 -ton HVAC system, with separate controller Room 133 & 114 will require a 2-ton HVAC system for each room, with separate controllers. Room 132 will require a 4-ton HVAC system, with separate controller. 26 WPS request this HVAC installation and testing be accomplish within, 160 days, period of performance All design and construction must be compliant with current International Building Code (IBC) latest Edition, Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria Standards (UFC), all Public Laws (P.L.), Executive Orders (E.O.), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Department of Defense Instructions (DODI), Department of Defense Directives (DODD), Nellis Installation Development and Design Standards (ID2) and Clark County, State of Nevada, and Federal standards, codes, and laws or other higher authority documents as applicable. Any discrepancies between code or standards provisions and the contract documents shall immediately be brought to the Contracting Officer's attention, and the more stringent requirements shall apply unless otherwise directed.
