Blasting and coating the exterior of an existing 2.8 MG potable water steel tank, including surface preparation (SSPC-SP 5), zinc primer, stripe coating, intermediate coat, and finish coat on steel walls, roof, stairs, handrail, and overflow pipe. The Contract provides for the construction of: The scope of services is to blast the exterior of an existing 2.8 MG potable water steel tank and to coat the exterior of the tank. The coating includes surface preparation with achieving a white profile, zinc primer, stripe coating, and finish coats in accordance with the Specifications. The coating of the tank shall include all Work necessary to prepare the steel walls, exterior roof, exterior stairs, exterior handrail, and exterior overflow pipe. The final product shall be a full coating of the exterior tank meeting the Specifications. In addition, the Contractor shall properly coat the base of a new exterior vent after it is installed by the Owner. All questions shall be sent by email to njacobs@nec-engrs.com. The last day for questions is Friday, August 24th 2026 at 5:00 P.M
